REPRESENTATIVE JERGUSON, REPRESENTATIVE HILL, HONOR BEAU COOPER
UPON OBTAINING THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT

Court of Honor Held for Newest Eagle Scout: Beau Cooper

On Sunday, May 4, Representatives Sean Jerguson and Calvin Hill presented a resolution from the Georgia House of Representatives commending the achievement of Beau Cooper. On Sunday, May 4, a Court of Honor for Boy Scout Troop 241 was called to award the coveted rank of Eagle to Beau Cooper. Beau, a freshman at Creekview High School and resident of the Flying Hills community in Canton, was joined by his family and closest friends for the Court of Honor.

Even more fitting for Beau and his family, the ceremony took place at Canton First United Methodist Church, where Beau plays the piano at the 9:45 service every Sunday. At 15 years old, Beau’s hard work and perseverance to obtain the rank of Eagle placed him in exclusive company.

Only 1 out of every 100 scouts will ever succeed in obtaining the rank of Eagle, Scouting’s highest honor!
