Cherokee Town Hall Meeting This Thursday
If you own a home or commercial property in Cherokee County, this could be the most important announcement you have heard all day.
There will be a Cherokee Town Hall meeting this Thursday, March 13th at 7:00 pm. As there will probably be a lot of folks there, we are having it at the Cherokee County South Annex building on Main Street in Woodstock.
The subject will be the PROPERTY TAX FREEZE legislation that has been introduced in the Legislature for Cherokee County. There is a lot, and I mean a lot, of misinformation being spread around on what this means and how it will impact you. If you want the straight story or want to ask questions, this meeting is for you!
That is this Thursday, March 13th at the South Annex – 7:00 pm.
How will your property taxes be impacted and how will the County and Schools be effected? Come to the meeting and find out what is happening. You will have the opportunity to vote on these measures, so now is the time to become informed.
Bring all of your friends and neighbors in Cherokee County, they will also have a say in how you are taxed and by how much. If you have any concern about your property taxes, you should be there. I am looking forward to seeing you there Thursday night.
